Finetone’s Unconditional Guarantee

Finetone is committed to maintaining the highest quality in our remanufactured laser toner cartridges. Our confidence in our products is reflected in our unconditional guarantee:

Each and every cartridge that Finetone services is unconditionally guaranteed for one full year from purchase date. Our pledge is that a cartridge reconditioned by us will perform to your satisfaction, or we will replace or repair the cartridge.

Our warranty will be honored only when Finetone’s cartridge is used in its normal capacity and will not be honored when damage to the cartridge results from abuse, misuse, accident, neglect, disaster, alteration or unauthorized repairs.

We guarantee that we will repair or replace, at our option, any laser printer with a canon-based engine that is damaged due directly to the malfunctioning of Finetone’s remanufactured toner cartridge.

Quality Assurance

To ensure that we were succeeding in meeting that goal, Finetone had Buyers Laboratories, Inc. complete a comparative testing process on our cartridges.

Buyers Laboratories is the "consumer advocate" of the office products community. They have been testing office products since 1961, providing business consumers with impartial test reports to help them make the best possible purchasing decisions. The following is Buyers Laboratory’s Report on our cartridges:

    Conclusion: The page yield of the FineTone cartridges exceeded the page yield of the OEM cartridge yield by an average of 477 pages in the tests. In addition, the FineTone cartridges’ packaging was of good quality — no leakage of the cartridges or damage to the cartons occurred after the drop test — and the FineTone cartridges produced no deleterious effects on the test printer. Moreover, a comparison of the output of the OEM cartridge with that of the FineTone cartridge indicated that there was no noticeable difference in the occurrence of print quality problems and/or print defects. Additionally, the print density of the FineTone cartridges (at 1.39) was higher than that of the OEM cartridge (at 1.31). Consequently, based on the performance of the Finetone cartridges in the tests, BLI feels that the Finetone LBP-SX toner cartridge is a quality unit that meets or exceeds the performance of the OEM cartridge.
